Islamabad: The Ministry of Finance has once again increased the prices of petroleum products, which will be implemented from 12 o’clock tonight.
According to the notification issued, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 5.36 per liter, after which the new price has been fixed at Rs 272.15.
Similarly, high-speed diesel has become expensive by Rs 11.37 per liter, after which its new price has become Rs 284.35 per liter.
This increase has been made at a time when the public is already burdened by inflation, and the increase in petroleum products can also affect the prices of daily commodities.
