Schools and colleges in Karachi to remain closed tomorrow, public holiday also under consideration: Mayor Karachi

Karachi: Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has announced that all schools and colleges in Karachi will remain closed tomorrow due to rain, while the Sindh government is also considering a public holiday.

Talking to the media, he said that intermittent rain continued in the city today, due to which difficulties were faced in relief activities. He said that the capacity of Karachi’s drainage system is limited to only 40 mm of rain, due to which the citizens faced difficulties.

Murtaza Wahab said that local government bodies and the district administration are making every effort to improve the situation.
