Record boom in PSX, 100 index reaches highest level in history

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange has continued its bullish trend this month and today a new history was created when the 100 Index managed to cross the 150,000-point mark for the first time.

Due to the strong rally on the second day of the business week, the index recorded an increase of 1,781 points and the index reached the level of 150,042 points. During the trading session, the index also made a new high of 150,323 points.

At the end of the trading session, the benchmark index closed at 149,770 points, up 1,574 points, while the previous day it was 148,196 points.

Analysts say that continuously crossing record high levels indicates confidence in the economy and better investment prospects.
