Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has declared that India’s assertions of battlefield success have collapsed under scrutiny, asserting that Pakistan secured a clear victory during the confrontation.
In a televised interview, Khawaja Asif revealed that Pakistan’s armed forces demonstrated unmatched resolve, while India resorted to propaganda to satisfy domestic audiences. “Their statements are only meant to pacify their people. The reality is that India suffered a defeat both militarily and diplomatically,” he said.
Highlighting the role of international partnerships, Khawaja Asif explained that although Pakistan maintains strong defense ties with Turkey and China, no foreign forces were involved in the fighting itself.
He cautioned that any renewed Indian provocation would receive a firm response, adding, “If India repeats such actions, they will face the same consequences and again claim that others came to our aid.”
