New Central Contracts: Category A empty, compensation increased in categories C and D

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced new central contracts for 2025-26.  According to PCB sources, no player in Category A could meet the criteria this time, while 10 players each have been included in Categories B, C and D.

The new contracts will be effective from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. This year, 12 new players were added to the list, 9 players managed to retain their previous category, and 8 players failed to get a contract.

Sources said that Category C players will be provided with Rs 2.5 million per month while Category D players will be provided with Rs 1.5 million, while there has been no increase in the remuneration of Category B players.
