Islamabad: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency has issued a statement saying that 46 apps have been declared illegal, including gambling and unregulated Forex trading apps.
The statement said that these apps were creating serious threats by obtaining users’ personal data and mobile numbers. The agency has warned citizens to avoid using such apps.
The cybercrime announcement further states that the PTA will block all these illegal apps to protect the public from online fraud and data theft.
