Trump orders aggressive naval action in Strait of Hormuz amid rising tensions

Washington: Donald Trump has reiterated his tough stance on Iran and said that Iran will not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons under any circumstances, while the United States is taking important steps for the peace and security of the world.

Speaking to the media at the White House, the US President said that the US has achieved a major military victory in the Iran issue and the ongoing ceasefire with Iran is currently in a state of “extreme caution”.

He said that the US is not feeling any pressure or pressure in its dealings with Iran and Washington is moving forward under its strategy. He said that Iranian officials tend to backtrack on their stance after agreeing on many issues. The US President said that “like the US, there are moderate and hardline elements in Iran”, however, Washington is constantly monitoring the situation.

Trump claimed that Iran’s response was awaited for days, even though it could have been given in minutes. He also criticized the negotiation process with Iran and said that Tehran had delayed in some matters. In the discussion on Iran, the US president also mentioned the Strait of Hormuz and said that he was considering a large-scale restoration of the “Freedom Project” to ensure the safe movement of ships in the region.

According to Trump, the purpose of this project will not be only to accompany ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, but also broader security arrangements in the region could be part of it. However, he clarified that a final decision on the full restoration of the project has not yet been made.

The US president claimed that Iranian negotiators have recognized the need for American help to remove nuclear waste because Iran does not have the required technology in this regard.

He added that the US will maintain pressure on Iran and Tehran will eventually be willing to make a deal. According to him, Iran “will definitely surrender” and the US will continue to pressure until its conditions are met.

Speaking about the Kurds, Trump said that the US had provided a large amount of weapons to its allied Kurdish groups in the region so that they could play a role in operations against Iran, but he said the Kurds kept those weapons.

According to political observers, the US president’s recent statements reflect the growing tension in the Middle East and the ongoing strain in Iran-US relations.

Experts say that the Strait of Hormuz is a very important passage for global energy trade and any new US strategy related to it could have an impact on the global economy.

According to analysts, issues related to Iran’s nuclear program, regional security and the protection of sea lanes will remain the main focus of global diplomacy in the coming days.
