Tehran: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has said that the US has failed to build trust so far despite understanding Iran’s position.
In a statement released on social media, he appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to facilitate the negotiation process.
He said that Iran participated in the negotiations with good intentions, but due to past experiences, complete trust in the US is not possible.
Qalibaf added that the Iranian delegation presented several important proposals during the negotiations, but the US could not take effective steps to build trust.
He expressed his determination that Iran will continue to take all possible measures to protect its sovereignty and people’s rights.
