The American side is likely to include Vice President JD Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, while Iran is expected to be represented by Speaker Baqir Qalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
The “Carrot and Stick” Approach President Donald Trump confirmed the development, stating that his representatives are heading to Islamabad with a “very good deal.” However, his offer came with a severe ultimatum. “We are close to a deal, but if it fails, Iran’s power plants and bridges will be destroyed,” Trump warned, emphasizing that this is the final opportunity for a peaceful resolution.
