Iran Seeks Honorable Peace, Rejects U.S. Interference: President Pezeshkian

Iran will emerge stronger after destruction, says Iranian President

TEHRAN – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Sunday emphasized that while Tehran seeks an “honorable end” to regional conflicts, it will not compromise on its sovereign rights or its legitimate defense.

In a statement, Pezeshkian clarified that Iran has never been the initiator of war. “We are exercising our legal and legitimate right to self-defense. We have no intention of attacking any country, but we will not be bullied,” he stated.

Critiquing the stance of U.S. President Donald Trump, Pezeshkian argued that there is no justification for Washington to deprive Iran of its nuclear energy rights. He maintained that the Iranian nation’s progress in technology is a sovereign right that no foreign leader can obstruct.

  • Regional Stability: The President reiterated that Iran’s primary goal remains the preservation of peace and security in the Middle East.
  • Defense Rights: He noted that recent military postures were purely defensive and aimed at deterring further aggression.
