KARACHI – The SAR to PKR exchange rate is continuing to remain significant in Pakistan’s financial market on 07 May 2026 due to strong economic, religious, and workforce connections with Saudi Arabia.
In the open market, the Saudi Riyal is being bought at Rs 74.30 and sold at Rs 75.00. In the interbank market, the riyal is being traded at Rs. 74.27 for buying and Rs. 74.40 for selling.
Saudi Arabia remains one of the leading destinations for Pakistani workers, while remittances from the Kingdom continue supporting Pakistan’s external account stability. The riyal exchange rate is also influencing Hajj and Umrah-related travel expenses and business transactions.
Economic cooperation between the two countries is continuing across investment, energy, and trade sectors, which is maintaining steady demand for the Saudi currency in Pakistan’s exchange market.
