Karachi: At the beginning of the new year, the government has issued a notification to reduce the prices of petrol and diesel, providing relief to the public. Under this, the price of petrol per litre has been reduced by Rs 10.28 and diesel by Rs 8.57.

These new prices will be effective from January 1, 2026, to January 15, which is aimed at providing some relief to consumers from the additional financial burden.
