Market Analysis
LAHORE: The Pakistani silver market witnessed a fresh price adjustment on 22 April 2026, with the rate settling at Rs. 8,372 per tola. This minor decline follows a week of consolidation where the “White Metal” struggled to regain the Rs. 9,000 peak seen mid-month.
Local bullion analysts attribute today’s dip to a strengthening US Dollar in the interbank market and a slight cooling of international commodity prices. While gold continues to see safe-haven inflows, silver is currently reacting more sharply to industrial manufacturing outlooks across the region.
For retail investors, current price levels provide a potential entry point before expected seasonal demand kicks in. Experts forecast that silver will remain within the Rs. 8,200 to Rs. 8,500 range for the remainder of the month, provided there are no major geopolitical shocks.
