KARACHI – The AED to PKR exchange rate is remaining important for Pakistan’s economy on Thursday, 07 May 2026, as trade and remittance activity with the United Arab Emirates continues at a steady pace.

In the open market, the UAE dirham is being bought at Rs. 75.90 and sold at Rs. 76.90.

The UAE continues serving as one of Pakistan’s largest trade and employment partners in the Gulf region. Financial inflows from overseas Pakistanis working in the UAE are contributing significantly to the country’s foreign exchange position.

The Dirham rate is also affecting import-related sectors, including electronics, construction products, and consumer goods. Businesses involved in regional trade are continuing to monitor currency movement for payment settlements and pricing strategies.
