Iran Warns Talks May Stall Without Trust, Raises Key Demands

Tehran: Despite important issues being discussed in the ongoing talks between Iran and the United States, progress has come down to mutual trust.


According to a Foreign Ministry spokesperson, sensitive issues such as the Strait of Hormuz, the nuclear program, sanctions and war reparations were discussed in the recent talks.


Iranian officials made it clear that the talks could stall if the opposing side does not show seriousness.


They urged the international community to adopt a just stance and play its role in stabilizing the region.
