Islamabad, Pakistan— Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif credited Pakistan’s economic stability to collective efforts during a meeting of the Economic Advisory Council (EAC). He emphasized leveraging regional trade potential and advancing digital initiatives, including green data centers, IT exports, and freelancer support.
EAC members praised the government’s economic team for exceeding expectations, noting industrial revival, price stability, and increased production. PM Shehbaz directed the formulation of a comprehensive plan to boost local industries for global competitiveness. Attendees included Jahangir Khan Tareen, Saqib Shirazi, and Shahzad Saleem.
