Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif emphasizes the improvement of the economy in a meeting with the business community

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the country’s economy is moving in the right direction, while interest rates and inflation rates have decreased significantly. He said this during a meeting with a delegation of business leaders, in which the delegation expressed confidence in the policies of the government under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

According to a statement issued in this regard, the business community and investors paid tribute to the Prime Minister for providing a conducive environment. The delegation included Mushahid Hussain, SM Tanvir, Mian Ahsan, Salim Ghori, Gauhar Ijaz, Syed Yawar Ali, Atif Sheikh, Fawad Mukhtar, Shahzad Malik, Usman Malik, Atif Inam and Shahzad Asghar.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the sincere and honest business community is our valuable asset. He said that the business community invested in the country for its industrial and economic development even in difficult times, due to which the wheel of the country’s economy moved and people got employment.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the country’s economy will be further improved with the consultation and useful feedback of the business community. He said that the journey of reforms will continue in all sectors and a conducive environment will be provided for business activities and investment.

The Prime Minister also said that the investment journey begins with the local investors. He said the purpose of the consultations is to accelerate the development of the country’s economy. He informed that the trade officers have been given clear targets regarding the promotion of trade and exports.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the government is committed to strengthening the country’s economy together with the business community. He said the efforts of the business community will help take the country’s economy to new heights.
