During the interrogation, the PTI leaders were asked tough questions regarding posts on social media, especially focusing on content related to the Pakistan Army and state institutions. According to sources, the JIT obtained detailed information on the modus operandi of PTI’s social media handling and party financing issues.

PTI leaders appeared before the JIT to present their points of view but stressed the need for more submissions in the investigation process. The JIT has directed all the summoned persons to appear before it on the next dates.

PTI has not yet issued an official statement on the matter, but sources say there is concern in the party’s inner circles about the investigation.
