PM Shehbaz Sharif Unveils Transformative Projects in Dera Ghazi Khan, Vows to Tackle Inflation and Power Costs

Dera Ghazi Khan: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed a large gathering in Kot Chhatha, Dera Ghazi Khan, where he announced groundbreaking initiatives and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to national progress. He declared that Pakistan cannot achieve development until the “siege of Islamabad” ends, emphasizing the need for political stability.

Responding to critics who mock his foreign visits, the PM questioned whether those politicians who accuse him of “begging for money” ever distributed wealth themselves. He praised Nawaz Sharif for sacrificing his political career to save the country from turmoil and highlighted significant economic improvements, including a reduction in inflation from 40% to 2.4%. He also promised further cuts in electricity prices.

PM Shehbaz lauded Maryam Nawaz for her public service in Punjab and stated that development has become Pakistan’s destiny. He announced the construction of a cancer hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan and a university in Rajanpur, marking a new era of healthcare and education for the region.

These announcements reflect the government’s dedication to public welfare and sustainable development, aiming to uplift underprivileged areas and improve the quality of life for citizens.
