Islamabad: Talking to the media outside the Parliament in Islamabad, Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar said that on a serious issue like terrorism, everyone has to think unitedly and avoid any kind of provincial or linguistic division in this regard. He said that if Pakistan is there, we are there, and national interest should always be given top priority.
He added that the cases of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on social media will be placed before the PTI founder. He said the future course of action would be decided after consulting the party leadership on the issue.
Barrister Gohar also expressed concern over the current political and security situation in the country and said that it is imperative to take effective measures against terrorism, keeping in mind the integrity of the country and the security of the people. He said that all political forces have to adopt a consensus narrative keeping in mind national interests so that lasting peace can be established in the country.
