Islamabad – At the Aiwan-i-Sadr, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari had a discussion during which they spoke about the country’s political, economic, and security circumstances.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and prominent figures Naveed Qamar and Pervez Ashraf attended the meeting.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sent his best wishes for President Zardari’s health during the talks. The two leaders reiterated their commitment to cooperating for the stability and development of the country. They also decided to contact all political players in order to reach an agreement on legal problems, emphasizing the value of teamwork in passing legislation in Parliament.
President Zardari promised the Prime Minister his complete cooperation and assistance in efforts to bring about peace and growth in the country in a statement released after the meeting. To overcome the obstacles the nation faces, the two leaders stressed cooperation and teamwork.
