Islamabad: The Pakistani rupee experienced slight fluctuations against major foreign currencies in the open market today, with updated forex rates as on December 24, 2024. Here are the latest exchange rates for various currencies:
Australian Dollar is being bought at PKR 174.75 and sold at PKR 177.00. Currently, the value of The Canadian Dollar is 194.60 in Pakistan Rupees for buying and 197.00 in Pakistan Rupees for selling. The exchange rate that has been derived recently for the Chinese Yuan is 37.99 for purchasing and 38.39 for selling. Exchange rate for Euro is buying at 288.35 PKR and selling at 291.10 PKR. The buying rate of the Japanese Yen is 1.86 whereas it’s selling rate is 1.92 in Pakistan rupees. The exchange rate currently prevailing is the Riyal against the Pakistan Rupee where Riyal is bought at 73.80 PKR and sold at 74.35 PKR the U.A.E Dirham where it is bought at 75.45 PKR and sold at 76.10 PKR. Currently, the UK Pound Sterling is being purchased at Rs 347.40 and is being sold at Rs 350.90. Last of all, the US Dollar rate is 278.10 PKR for purchasing and 279.60 PKR for selling. These rates are variable and depend on changes in the forex market and the general economic situation including supply and demand conditions.
