Motorway police instructions issued to avoid traffic jams

Islamabad: Motorway Police has informed the citizens that temporary disruptions have occurred in the traffic flow due to ongoing repair and maintenance work at various locations.

According to a Motorway Police spokesperson, the movement of vehicles is slow during the repair work, however, additional personnel and patrolling units have been deployed to control the situation. Police said that all personnel are present at the spot to provide immediate assistance in any emergency.

Officials said that a temporary ban has been imposed on the entry of heavy vehicles to avoid traffic jams and accidents. Drivers have been asked to be patient and cooperate fully with traffic officials during their journey.

Motorway Police has advised passengers to check the latest situation of the route before starting their journey, while for any guidance or assistance, helpline 130 can be contacted immediately.
