Rawalpindi: After several hours of closure in the twin cities, the situation started returning to normal on Monday afternoon and all areas were opened. Residential and business activities around Noor Khan Airbase have completely restored.

Vehicle traffic has resumed on the city roads, while citizens got relief as food supplies were restored in shops and markets. Traders have also resumed business.

Electric bus service continued as usual, however, metro bus service has not been fully restored yet. At present, metro buses are limited only from Saddar to Shaheed-e-Millat Station, while the red zone has been closed for security reasons.
