Islamabad: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah has stressed the need for national unity on the issue of water, saying that the right of each province is protected and no province can take the water of the other’s share.
He said that we have to solve the problem by sitting at a table, rising above politics. That is why Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have directed to resolve the issues through negotiations with the PPP.
Rana Sana said that the PPP is our ally, respects their leadership, and wants all issues to be resolved through understanding. He said that we will not compromise on the rights of the units This is the real strength of the federation.
He said that the 1991 Accord and ARSA Act provide a clear constitutional basis under which no injustice can be done to any province. Counseling is the solution to every problem.
