Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has paid close attention to the restoration of twelve Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) officials who were earlier sacked on corruption allegations. Former Secretary Power Shahid Khan, the current Secretary of Energy, plus officials from the Lesco Board and the Intelligence Bureau (IB), make up the committee. The committee’s establishment emphasizes how dedicated the government is to responsibility within its governmental institutions.
