Rawalpindi – Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gowhar Khan has stressed the need for national unity against India and said that Pakistan should unitedly fight against Indian aggression. They appreciated the recent steps taken by the government, such as the closure of airspace to India, and supported the National Security Council communiqué and expressed their full support.

Barrister Gohar strongly condemned the ban on Pakistani news channels by the Indian government and said that it has exposed the so-called secularism of India. He said that India is unsuccessfully trying to impose its false narrative in front of the world.

The chairman of PTI expressed serious concerns over not being allowed to meet the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, who is imprisoned in Adiala Jail. He said that despite clear orders from both the Larger Bench and the Single Bench of the courts, the meeting was not being allowed, which is a clear violation of the court orders. He urged the Chief Justice to ensure the implementation of his orders.

Barrister Gohar said that if the meeting takes place, he will consult the founder of PTI on the recent tension with India, as Imran Khan has already made it clear that India’s aggression will not be thought of but will be responded to immediately and strongly.

“When the country is passing through a crucial phase and we are giving a message of national integration against India, such disruptions reflect irresponsible behavior,” he added.

Other PTI leaders, including Senator Ali Zafar, also expressed concern over not being allowed to meet Imran Khan. He said that consultation with the founder of PTI is indispensable in national affairs, and the purpose of not having a meeting is to keep him in solitary confinement.

In the wake of recent tensions between Pakistan and India, the PTI leadership has called for national unity and adherence to judicial orders to effectively meet the challenges facing the country.
