Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed the weekly session with a positive outlook during its last trading day. Today the PSX 100 Index finished trading at 114,880 after its value increased by 842 points. The index demonstrated daily price movement between 1,395 points.
The index’s peak today reached 115,779 before concluding its dealings at 37 billion Pakistani rupees through 63 crore shares changing hands.
The PSX market capitalisation increased 49 billion rupees throughout the period to finalise at 14,116 billion rupees. Stock market prices showed significant strength as the trading week ended with positive results.
