Tensions have risen once again in the Middle East, where the situation between Iran and the US in the Strait of Hormuz has become tense. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have claimed that they targeted a US warship with missiles.

According to Iranian officials, the incident occurred near Jask, where the US ship was given a warning, but action was taken after it was allegedly ignored. According to Iranian media, the US ships then withdrew from the area.

On the other hand, the United States Central Command has said that it is continuing a large-scale operation in the Strait of Hormuz, which includes 1,500 soldiers and modern military resources.

Iran has also released a new map on this occasion, highlighting areas from Koh-e-Mubarak to Umm Al Quwain.

Experts say the Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most important oil routes, where any tension could have global repercussions. The international community is closely watching the current situation, and fears are being expressed that tensions could escalate further.

According to analysts, such incidents could pose a threat not only to regional security but also to the global economy, especially with regard to energy supplies.
