Zafargarh: Talking to the media in Zafargarh, PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said that politicians should not just raise political slogans but should give top priority to public service.
He stressed that rehabilitation of flood victims, resolution of farmers’ problems and supporting the agriculture sector are the biggest challenges of today.Saad Rafique said that sugarcane farmers are not getting paid for their hard work because sugar mill owners have taken the form of mafia.
According to him, the farmers’ two-year-old dues have not been paid yet, which is hurting the agricultural economy.He warned that there should be no concessions on illegal constructions in the riverbed.
Saad Rafique said that the government should take tough decisions so that the people do not have to face the same disasters again and again.
