New judicial year of Supreme Court to begin on September 8, Chief Justice to highlight new priorities

Islamabad: The new judicial year 2025-26 of the Supreme Court of Pakistan will begin next week on September 8. According to the Registrar Supreme Court, the inaugural conference of the new judicial year will be held on the same day at 9:30 am.

The announcement said that the conference will review the progress made so far on judicial reforms, while the Chief Justice of Pakistan will highlight the future priorities and direction of the court.

At the end of the conference, the inauguration of the “One Stop Public Facilitation Center” is also expected in the Supreme Court, through which it is being indicated to improve public facilities.

According to legal experts, this conference at the beginning of the judicial year will not only clarify the objectives and strategy of the judiciary but can also be a positive step to increase transparency and efficiency in the process of delivering justice.
