US supports Israeli aggression; Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi strongly responds

ISLAMABAD: Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi has returned home with his delegation after completing a short visit to Islamabad. His visit comes at a time when diplomatic activities in the region are witnessing a significant increase.

According to officials, Abbas Araqchi arrived at Noor Khan Air Base after a one-day visit to Oman, where he was received by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moqadam. Although the visit was short, important level meetings were held during it.

According to diplomatic sources, the Iranian Foreign Minister also met with Pakistan’s military leadership. In the meeting with Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, various aspects of regional security, bilateral relations and cooperation were discussed in detail. Both sides stressed the need for joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.

This visit is also significant in that it was his second visit to Pakistan in the past two days. Earlier, he had arrived in Islamabad on Friday and had meetings with top officials including the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. Economic cooperation, border issues and the promotion of diplomatic ties were discussed in these meetings.
Analysts say that such frequent contacts between Iran and Pakistan reflect the ongoing changes in the region.

The two countries are not only geographically important but can also play a key role in regional stability.

Moreover, these visits indicate that the two countries are trying to harmonize their foreign policies, especially at a time when global and regional challenges are increasing.

Abbas Araqchi also went to Muscat from Islamabad during his visit, where he met with the Omani leadership. On his return, he once again made a short stay in Islamabad, which diplomatic circles are calling an important development.
At the time of departure, Pakistani officials and Iranian diplomatic staff saw him off at the Nur Khan Air Base. A glimpse of the friendly relations between the two countries could be clearly seen on this occasion.

According to observers, more high-level contacts are expected between Pakistan and Iran in the near future, which will not only strengthen bilateral relations but may also prove important for peace and stability in the region.
