Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has said that “bail does not mean acquittal.” While talking to the media, he said that in the 190 million pound case, the PTI founder could not present any effective answer in his defense and is facing cases in the courts.

He said that in this case, approval was taken from the cabinet in a sealed envelope, the PTI founder said, “Leave what is inside the envelope, just give approval.” Atta Tarar raised the question of under what circumstances the five-carat rings were taken and how the government of Pakistan’s share was adjusted in the fine?

The Information Minister said that the sentence in the 190 million pound case against the PTI founder is 14 years in prison, just getting bail does not mean release. According to him, “A murderer and a robber also get bail, but that does not mean that they are innocent.”

Atta Tarar further said that the entire nation witnessed the events of May 9 with its own eyes, this is not just the case of an individual or a party but the matter of the entire nation. He said that the founder PTI was the “mastermind” of that day, who spoiled the situation so that the enemy forces could take advantage of it.

He said that the PTI leaders are actually trying to mislead the nation by celebrating bail, but the people have already rejected their narrative. According to him, “there is irrefutable evidence against them and the prosecution has a raft of evidence.”

The Information Minister said that the PTI also had a negative impact on the economy, even writing a letter to the IMF.

According to him, the actions of the founder PTI not only harmed the institutions but also the country, and now it is time to take these cases to their logical conclusion.
