Lahore: For some, small dreams turned into big prizes. The Rs 200 bond draw of the National Savings Center has once again given new hope to dozens of people.
The lucky winner of the first prize won a huge amount of Rs 750,000 with bond number 774331. The five second prize winners received Rs 250,000 each, holding bond numbers 097127, 265610, 464840, 976082, and 978550.
The third prize will award thousands of people with Rs 1,250, which may be less but is no less than a great joy for hundreds of families.
The draw was completed in a transparent manner under the supervision of the State Bank, which is a positive message for small-scale investors in the country. Bondholders can get their reward in any branch of National Savings and State Bank of Pakistan by showing its original bond along with CNIC within six years of the draw. However, tax is applicable on the prize money as per legal requirements: 15% for filers and 35% for non-filers.
