Market value increases by Rs 80 billion; 750 million shares traded today

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Market witnessed positive trading today. The market’s famous 100 index closed at 122,761 points with an increase of 515 points, which is a good sign for investors.

The index witnessed fluctuations throughout the day, which remained in the band of 1,087 points. The highest level of the day was recorded at 123,256 points, which shows the increasing trend of investment.

During the trading day, about 750 million shares were traded, with a total value of more than Rs 28 billion. The total market value (market cap) increased by Rs 80 billion and has now reached Rs 14,858 billion.

According to analysts, one of the reasons for the bullish market is the hope of a decrease in regional tensions and political stability, which has increased investor confidence.
