LPG prices reduced, domestic cylinder cheaper by Rs 79

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a reduction in LPG prices for October. According to the notification, the price of LPG per kg has been fixed at Rs 207.49, which is a decrease of Rs 6.70 per kg.

After this reduction, the price of a domestic cylinder has decreased by Rs 79.14 to Rs 2448.33. While in September the same cylinder was available for Rs 2527.47.

Energy experts say that the reduction in prices is limited but it is welcome for the public in the current economic conditions. Especially those consumers who use LPG for domestic needs due to the lack of natural gas.
