Karachi – Gold prices in Pakistan remain at high levels on May 09, 2026, while the effects of the global market and fluctuations in the value of the rupee are affecting the local bullion market.
According to the market report, 24-karat gold is being sold at Rs 484,500 per tola, while the price of 10 grams of gold has been recorded at Rs 415,381. Similarly, the price of 24-carat gold per gram is approximately Rs 41,538.
According to the report, 22-carat gold is available at Rs 444,240 per tola, while 21-carat gold is available at Rs 424,047 per tola.
High gold prices in the country are affecting the purchase of jewellery, while consumers are focusing on relatively lightweight and low-carat jewellery.
According to experts, due to economic uncertainty and the strong position of gold in the global market, prices in the local market are also likely to remain high.
