Karachi: The US Dollar (USD) is holding firm in the open market as of today, with the buying rate at Rs. 288.3 and selling at Rs. 288.6. The parity shows little fluctuation compared to previous sessions, reflecting a relatively calm sentiment in the interbank and open markets.
The stability of the dollar is attributed to recent remittance inflows and a controlled demand for imports. Analysts suggest that further movements in USD will depend on IMF loan disbursements and upcoming economic reforms.
