Tehran: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghai has said that Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to confront any possible situation, and those who act aggressively against Iran will be severely punished.
In his statement released on social media, Esmail Baghai said that if the world wants to reject barbarism and domination, it must demonstrate moral courage and raise its voice in favour of Iran.
He sharply criticised the United States and Israel and said that the war imposed on Iran is not just a war of geography or resources but rather a decisive battle between good and evil.
The Iranian spokesman said that some powers rejoice in violating the laws of war, while Iran is making every effort to save the lives of innocent civilians.
He added that this war has become a war to protect the future of humanity, human rights, the rule of law and moral values.
Esmail Baqai urged the international community to abandon silence because remaining silent on such occasions is tantamount to “cooperating with evil”.
Meanwhile, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will travel to India to attend the BRICS summit, where important global issues, including the situation in the region, are expected to be discussed.
