In the interbank market, the pound sterling is being recorded at:
Buying Rs. 378.32 | Selling Rs. 379.00
In the open market, the pound is being traded at the following rate:
Buying Rs. 377.91 | Selling Rs. 382.44
The rupee is showing pressure against GBP, while Pakistan’s trade payments linked to UK imports and education-related transactions are influencing currency demand.
This movement is affecting the cost of imports and overseas education expenses, while financial outflows are adjusting in response to currency fluctuations.
