He also criticized the negotiation process with Iran and said that Tehran had delayed in some matters. In the discussion on Iran, the US president also mentioned the Strait of Hormuz and said that he was considering a large-scale restoration of the “Freedom Project” to ensure the safe movement of ships in the region.

According to Trump, the purpose of this project will not be only to accompany ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, but also broader security arrangements in the region could be part of it. However, he clarified that a final decision on the full restoration of the project has not yet been made.

The US president claimed that Iranian negotiators have recognized the need for American help to remove nuclear waste because Iran does not have the required technology in this regard.

He added that the US will maintain pressure on Iran and Tehran will eventually be willing to make a deal. According to him, Iran “will definitely surrender” and the US will continue to pressure until its conditions are met.
