ISLAMABAD: Today’s federal cabinet meeting was unexpectedly postponed due to the busy schedule of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The meeting was to be chaired by the prime minister and was expected to take important decisions on the country’s political, economic, and security situation.

According to sources, a 12-point agenda was to be discussed at the meeting, which included important issues such as recent incidents of terrorism, proposals of the National Security Committee, and the country’s economic conditions. In addition, the ongoing security concerns in the country were also to be discussed.

It may be recalled that the meeting was called at 11 am on Tuesday, but it was postponed due to the Prime Minister’s other official engagements. Sources say that the new date will be announced soon, and a detailed discussion on the important issues discussed by the cabinet will be held in the next meeting.
