PM Shehbaz Sharif’s speech at Riyadh FII Forum: “Digital reforms, technology and the future of young Pakistan”

Riyadh: Speaking at the Future Investment Initiative Global Forum, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that comprehensive reforms are being implemented in Pakistan for economic stability and industrial development. He said that our young population is the biggest asset for the country’s development, and they are being equipped with technology.

The Prime Minister assured that digital transformation in the FBR has significantly reduced corruption and institutional transparency is improving. Dependence on debt weakens the economy, which is why efforts are underway to find sustainable resources and promote investment.

He said that Pakistan is facing the severe effects of climate change, billions of dollars are lost due to natural disasters, and the international community should cooperate more in the recovery process.

Shahbaz Sharif added that artificial intelligence is the key to future development, which is why we are rapidly adopting modern technology, including AI. He said that to increase agricultural production, young people are receiving modern training from China so that innovation can be brought into the agricultural sector.

The Prime Minister also said that only partnership and cooperation with each other can take humanity in the right direction.
