ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a telephonic conversation with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, strongly condemned the Israeli attack in Doha. The Prime Minister said that Israeli aggression is a serious threat to regional peace and global stability.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister expressed deep regret and sympathy for the loss of lives and destruction of civilian property in Doha. He assured full solidarity with the Emir of Qatar, the royal family and the Qatari people and said that Pakistan stands firmly with Qatar in this difficult time.
Furthermore, PM Shehbaz Sharif stressed that such attacks are a clear violation of international law and human rights. According to the statement, the Emir of Qatar thanked the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the expression of solidarity.
During the talks, the two leaders agreed to continue mutual consultations and close communication for the establishment of peace and security in the region.
