LONDON: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Afghan interim government should take immediate and effective steps against terrorists operating from Afghanistan. Speaking to the media in London, he said that the Afghan leadership has been repeatedly informed that terrorists should be prevented from using Afghan soil.

The Prime Minister said that the people of Pakistan, the armed forces, the police, and the law enforcement agencies have made countless sacrifices, which will not go in vain. He stressed that we want to live as good neighbors, but this decision requires a positive attitude from both sides.

Referring to his recent visit to Belarus, he informed that discussions have been held on joint projects in the field of agriculture and minerals. The Prime Minister said that joint ventures are expected from Belarusian companies in the field of agricultural machinery, while providing employment opportunities to 150,000 Pakistanis was also discussed.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is being put on the path of development under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and the current government is engaged in the development journey of the country with “Super Pakistan Speed.”
