PM Shahbaz Sharif returns from Turkey, reiterates Turkey’s support to terrorism and Kashmir

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has returned home after a two-day visit to Turkey. During the visit, the Prime Minister held meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and also addressed a joint press conference.

Addressing a joint press conference, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said Pakistan is grateful to Turkey for its continued support in the fight against terrorism and the Kashmir issue. He described the close ties between the two countries as historic and unbreakable.

During the visit, the Prime Minister expressed sympathy for the victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey and assured all possible support from Pakistan. According to sources, several important agreements in the defence and economic sectors have also been signed during the visit.
