Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir 2025, said that 27 years have passed since Pakistan became a nuclear power. This day is that golden chapter in our national history when the nation told the world that there will be no compromise on defending the homeland.
He said that Pakistan remained victorious in the hybrid war imposed by India from May 6 to 10, 2025, which refreshes the historical spirit of Youm-e-Takbir. He said that in 1998, India challenged Pakistan’s security by carrying out five nuclear explosions, but Nawaz Sharif, becoming the voice of the nation, responded with six nuclear explosions.
Shahbaz Sharif paid tribute to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, scientists, engineers, the Pakistani army, and state institutions, whose joint efforts made Pakistan invincible. He said that even today, the armed forces are alert and ready to protect national assets, and the unity of the entire nation is the real strength of the day.
