The moon of Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1447 AH has been sighted in Pakistan

Islamabad: The moon of Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1447 AH has been sighted across the country.

The moon sighting was formally announced after a meeting chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

After the testimony received from different parts of the country, it was decided in the meeting that Thursday, October 24, will be the first of Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1447 AH.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee said that the testimony of the moon was received from many cities of Balochistan, Sindh and South Punjab.
