ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, while paying tribute to the nation and security agencies on the first anniversary of the “Battle of Truth”, has said that this success is not only on the military front but also a victory of national unity, public trust and strong leadership.
In his special message, he said that the steadfastness and solidarity that Pakistan showed in difficult circumstances will be remembered as an important chapter in the country’s history.
According to him, success in the “Battle of Truth” was the result of complete faith in Allah, national unity and trust in leadership.
Talal Chaudhry, while appreciating the role of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, said that both leaders took effective decisions in sensitive situations and provided clear and strong leadership on the issue of national security.
He said that complete coordination between political and military institutions played an important role in this success, while the people also expressed full solidarity with state institutions at all levels.
The Minister of State, while mentioning the services of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, said that he played a very dynamic and effective role in the War Cabinet formed during the struggle for truth.
According to him, the performance of the Interior Minister in internal security, coordination and emergency decisions was commendable.
Talal Chaudhry said that Pakistan’s success is actually the success of the entire nation and this is a message that every challenge can be faced through national unity.
