Punjab launches Rs 52 billion development package and approves major projects for Rawalpindi and Mandi Bahauddin

Lahore: A Rs 52.3 billion development package has been launched in Punjab for economic and infrastructure development. The second meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party approved two major underpasses in Rawalpindi and a pedestrian underpass near AFIC, which will cost a total of Rs 5.552 billion.

An Rs 1.864 billion project for Mandi Bahauddin was also finalized in the same meeting, under which a road will be widened and a flyover will be constructed. These projects are expected to improve traffic flow and boost business activities.
